Born in Baltimore, Maryland Wickdtuk grew up in a single parent house hold along with his younger brother. Not very coordinated, Wickd used most of his time writing stories and playing video games. Growing older into his high school years he developed a taste for playing football, and looked to play on his high school team his freshman year. However, following the first week of school Wickd severely injured his left knee, which kept him away from school for several months. During this time he began transitioning his stories into music in which he later showed interest in it to his neighbor and fellow Baltimore rapper J-Law. During the summer of 2008, then known as Lil Gil; Wickd recorded his first song called "Party Starter". The song sparked a full time interest in Wickd to compose and record music on his own. During the next summer Wickdd, then under the name Gilly Swag, teamed up with J-Law once again for a song titled "Baltimore Swag", a remix to Soulja Boy's "Pretty Boy Swag". After several name changes, Wickd went on to produce three mixtapes. The first "Freeverse Friday" based off his Youtube series, and the second "Essexwounds", and finally "Parental Advisory". At the current moment Wickd is working on his fourth mixtape titled "Beast Culture" which will later spawn a second entry. The unsigned artist looks to further his lyrical skills in his hopes of being one day signed to a major label or creating his own.
